LD-52: Replacing the Word ‘God’ with Yahuah

✦ “I am Yahuah: that is My Name: and My glory will I not give to another…” — Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 42:8 ✦

Section One

The word “God” is on every tongue,
inscribed in every Bible translation,
invoked in every prayer and ritual.

Yet it was never the name
of the Elohim of Abraham, Yitshaq, and Ya’aqob.

It is a title, not a Name.
It is generic, transferable, shared by deities of many nations.

Even the demons call themselves “gods.”

The Scriptures tell us His Name is Yahuah—
eternal, singular, powerful, set apart.

To say “God” is to strip Him of identity.
To say “Yahuah” is to declare the covenant.

✦

Section Two

“God” derives from Old High German gott,
which finds no root in Hebrew truth.
In pagan Europe, “gott” was used for many deities,
each demanding worship through fear or flattery.

To use “God” for Yahuah
is like calling your beloved by a stranger’s name.

It is a dilution, a deception, a blurring of lines.

The enemy is cunning—
he knows if the Name is hidden,
the covenant is veiled.

The prophets cried out in Yahuah’s Name,
not in the name of “God.”
Yahusha bore the Father’s Name within His own.

And yet today, generations
pray to a nameless deity taught by tradition.

✦

Closing Reflection

To return to covenant, we must return to the Name.

Let “God” be removed from your lips,
and let Yahuah be lifted up.

Let the distinction be restored.
Let the truth be spoken.

His Name is not to be replaced,
translated, or hidden—
it is to be honored, declared, and sealed upon His people.
